Reading up on them, it turns out there are a couple of Defense maps during Syndicate alerts that will spawn them, and some that do not.
Before jumping in and scanning the entire map for them each Defense or Interception, especially with some larger ones full of nooks (ie: Corpus Ship). I figured having a post someone can save to check if their local fave Syndicate Defense can be exploited for near triple it's normal value as a bonus.
