For those uninitiated who do not know the Vaykor Sydon, it's a Syndicate variant of the Sydon with slightly tweaked stats and the unique gimmick that after blocking 15 hits with it, you can unleash a radial blind.
That is, in theory.
Blocking + heavy attack DOES prompt the blind animation where you raise the Sydon above your head.
However, you do not accrue charges on it while blocking, and therefore cannot trigger the blind effect.
This is the case regardless of platform.
These reports of the Vaykor Sydon being broken supposedly stretch back at least half a year. Some comments on those posts I've seen say it's been like this since Update 26.0 happened in OCTOBER 2019.
DE, please, fix the Vaykor Sydon.
It would also be absolutely fantastic if old content (missions, weapons, and warframes alike) would stop being neglected for years on end.
